Changes to our short film from the original.

We have decided that in order to make our short film seem even more modern and relatable to todays society, we are going to reverse the gender roles and Patrick Maloney will fulfil the character of Mary Maloney in the original story. This is because we feel it will set our piece apart from other re makes of this short story such as the version created by the Tales of the Unexpected. This will feel much more modern to todays viewers and will hopefully make much more of an impact than it would have if we were to stick to the original storyline. We will have Mary Maloney play the dominant, hard working wife and Patrick Maloney will be the stereotypical idea of a "House husband."
We have also decided to altar the scene in the grocers, we have removed all dialogue and this scene will be very short due to the impracticalities associated with filming in a shop.
